Rik is the MedCity Strategic Partnerships Lead, seeking new collaborations, partnerships and opportunities across academia, industry, and non-profit/charities, as well as other service areas.
As key part of his role, Rik has main responsibility for two programmes for which MedCity’ acts as delivery partner for London Advanced Therapies
- Collaborate to Innovate (C2N)
- Advanced Therapies Network (ATN)
With an academic background in Biomedical Science, and over 10 years’ experience in global healthcare communications and consulting (covering the pharmaceutical and med-tech industries, UK regulatory affairs, as well as the NHS) Rik is experienced in navigating and piecing together the vast and often siloed healthcare landscape. Rik’s aim is to connect the right people to foster programmes and collaborations that will have a lasting impact.
